Sales Center Agent

General Description

This is a telemarketing sales position in a call center.  Under managerial supervision, responsibilities include:

1. Contacting new prospects and dormant customers via fax, e-mail, and phone to generate leads.
2. Handling all incoming sales calls promptly.
3. Providing excellent customer service.
4. Using a computerized system for tracking issues and for information gathering.
5. Advance and close sales, often by deviating from standard computer screens and utilizing our corporate resources.

Experience:

1. 1 – 3 years experience in business-to-business sales.
2. College degree preferred.
3. Computer skills including MS Word, Excel and Outlook, as well as experience in the use of contact management and order processing software.
4. Good understanding of our technologies, products and services.
5. Strong telephone voice and verbal communication skills.
6. Bilingual candidates (Spanish) are encouraged to apply.
